Celebrate our Similarities and Differences

We began our special share this week.  We are learning about different celebrations and collecting information to see how our celebrations are the same and different.  These were the shares for this week.

We learned about Hanukkah.  Children learned how to play the draidel game and pretended to light the menorah.

We learned the procedure for getting a Christmas tree.  We also enjoyed the tree cookies with sparkling lights on them.  

We learned about the Elf Shelf on the Shelf Christmas Tradition.  We also learned that people celebrate with family and friends (including special stuffed ones)!
