Fire Safety Day!

Today was fire prevention day at SCS. Firefighters came into our class to discuss many safety tips.

First we talked about what to do if you are in your room and you hear the fire alarm.

Who's under those clothes?  Your community firefighter to the rescue! They also dressed up Ms. Elsie or team para-educator.

What do you do if there is smoke in the house?  You, stay low and Go, Go, Go...

We played a game called tool or toy?

We met Sparky the fire dog!

We got a tour of the fire truck.  Ms. Emma came with us.  She is one of our classroom helpers and she teaches us how to use sign language to communicate with others.

Some children used the smoke house and everyone practiced their Stop, Drop, And Roll!

We had a great day!
