After reading The Three Billy Goats Guff several times we then created bridges. We asked the question "What is the strongest shape for a bridge?". Then we tested each shape to see which one help the most books. We recorded the results on chart paper. Finally, everyone had a chance to create their own bridge out of paper cylinders.
Some the bridges could hold up to 15 books!
