We had a fun day. Here are a few highlights:
*Children learned how to dial 911 and were told once they call they should stay on the line and talk to the dispatcher.
* When there is smoke in the house; stay low and Go, Go, Go!
*If you can't get out of your room, through a pillow out your window. That tells the fire fighter someone is in that room.
* If you have fire on you, STOP, DROP, and ROLL!
* We also met some of the wonderful volunteer fire fighters of Shelburne!
* Finally, please go over your families exit plan, meeting place, and remember to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon dioxide detector.
